Jinger Duggar defies dad Jim Bob's rules as she wears trendy low-cut black pants and sneakers for LA

JINGER Duggar has shown off her hugely changed sense of style in a new photo.

The Counting On alum showed off her cool street style on her Instagram Stories on Thursday.

In the photo, Jinger, 29, cuddled up to a friend during an evening out in Los Angeles.

The TLC star had her hair down in waves, and went makeup-free as she smiled widely.

Jinger wore an oversized maroon sweater, along with black cargo pants.

The pants fitted tightly at Jinger's ankle, revealing the shape of her legs, before reaching her chunk Nike sneakers.

Just last week, Jinger shared another risky look as she spent time on the beach with her family.

In a clip shared on Instagram, the star sported a tight-fitting white tank top, ripped blue jeans, and a red baseball cap while walking shoeless on the beach with her husband.

Jeremy Vuolo, 36, donned a relaxed-fit T-shirt, a pair of chino shorts, and a Philadelphia Phillies baseball cap as she held hands with his wife.

The couple was shown sharing a kiss before the video cut to Jeremy playing with their daughters -  Felicity, five, and Evangeline, three - by the sea.

REBEL DUGGAR

Jinger's new fashion sense - and her PDA with her husband - goes directly against the strict lifestyle imposed by her family patriarch, Jim Bob Duggar, 57.

According to the Duggar family rules imposed by her dad and her mother Michelle Duggar, 56, women weren't allowed to wear "immodest" clothes, including pants.

Some of the guidance went even further, suggesting that they shouldn't have social media, consume modern entertainment, or even share front-facing hugs.

However, Jinger is no stranger to rebelling against Jim Bob's strict control over the Duggar family.

The star wrote a book called Becoming Free Indeed: My Story of Disentangling Faith from Fear, which she admitted had driven a wedge between herself and her family.

The tell-all memoir slams her upbringing and reveals an insight into her life in the supposedly cult-like Institute in Basic Life Principles organization.

A NEW LIFE

Jinger and her Jeremy moved to Los Angeles in 2019.

Despite the physical distance from the rest of her family, Jinger said that she is still close with many of her siblings.

"We always had such a tight bond between the sisters and so, I keep in contact with all of them often because it's so easy to just be able to FaceTime even though I'm so far away from them," Jinger told E! News in February 2023.

While still dedicated to their Christian faith, Jinger and Jeremy have opened up to the Los Angeles lifestyle and have become friends with a lot of new people, a source told The U.S. Sun.

The insider said: "Their opinion on gay marriage remains the same, but they are more open to the way other people choose to live their lives in LA.

"They are bringing their children up differently to how Jinger was brought up, their parenting style is much more relaxed, and it's likely their daughters will be even more open-minded."
